St. Patty's Day 10K

Well I did it, my first 10K.  I stayed at mom and dads house Friday night so I didn't have to get up any earlier than necessary.. plus my babysitters were there.  Got up got all decked out in my St. Paddy's day attire and headed to the capitol where the race would start.
After picking up my race packet I made a quick adjustment to my shirt, and found my friend Josh who would be running the race as well. Soon enough it was time to start and I was terrified.  I had been training, but not for hills and that is what this run was... ONE BIG HILL.
I gave myself 2 goals.. finish under 2 hours and DO NOT COME IN LAST ha ha I luckily accomplished both my goals and my official time was 1:37:49!  Yeah I was so happy.  I hate this picture, but thats ok. It was a very hard race... especially for my first 10K, but I DID IT!!  As I was coming down the final stretch  I saw my mom pulling up in her car. As I crossed the finish line she had just gotten out of her car and shut the door.  So we missed the crossing the finish line photos, but I am grateful that she made the effort!
I don't know how I was even standing at this point.  And I couldn't move much for a few days, but I recovered quickly and I'm back to workin out like a crazy woman!  Next up...  HALF MARATHON in SEPTEMBER!

My Sillies!

Just a few shots of 2 of my little sillies!

Not 1, 2, 3, BUT 4 Birthday's!

What do you do when you are celebrating 4 different birthdays on the same evening... well the easy thing would probably be make a cake... but who likes to make things easy? We made 4 different kinds of cupcakes so each birthday person felt special :)  One of the birthday honorees was my very own little man JONAH!  He wanted fishies...
He was very happy with the final product... but was very mad he had to wait to eat them...

Elly wanted in on the photo taking fun..

We know Aunt Tiffany loves to dress up so we made her some fun high heels... in different styles.

Grandpa loves to dig in the dirt and plant flowers... well there aren't any flowers up yet so we thought.. hum what is in the dirt...  WORMS!
And Easton loves Super Mario so some 1-UP/Grow Big mushrooms were in order.

I think we got them all covered!

Time to blow out the candles.

Happy Birthday to all of our special March family members!

We celebrated Grandma Marcia's 65th birthday with a big bash at a chinese buffet in Orem.  The kids helped me decorate this fun garden cake for our awesome gardening grandma!

WE HAD A BLAST, WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA!

YW New Beginnings

It was so much fun to be a part of YW again, I must be honest I have missed it a little.  They asked me to make some cupcakes for the occasion in the colors of the values.
